OnePlus’ upcoming performance monster attracted attention even when it was launched because of its huge equipment for gaming, such as the battery alone, which is up to 9000 mAh.

OnePlus recently confirmed that it will soon launch a new product line called OnePlus Turbo. Slated to launch in January 2026, the lineup will include performance-focused phones, competing with Turbo-branded devices from other brands. A new leak, courtesy of expert Digital Chat Station, has revealed the key specifications of an upcoming OnePlus Turbo model.

According to leaked sources, OnePlus Turbo will be the first device in the Oppo-OnePlus ecosystem to have a 9,000mAh battery, combined with a dual battery design. The move is said to signal a broader change, as high-performance phones enter the era of super-large batteries.

The source adds that the combination of the 8-series chipset, 9-series battery and 165Hz display makes for a “perfect Turbo,” positioning the device as especially attractive to users who prioritize battery life. Some reports suggest that the device will be equipped with Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset.

To reiterate, OnePlus China President Li Jie Louis recently announced that the OnePlus Turbo will inherit the brand’s premium performance DNA while delivering class-leading battery life, providing an unprecedented gaming experience in this price segment. He also affirmed that the Turbo line aims to “outperform” both performance and battery life in its segment.

Currently, the OnePlus Ace 6T, launched with an 8300mAh battery earlier this month in China, holds the title of OnePlus’ phone with the largest capacity battery. It looks like OnePlus Turbo will soon usurp this position. Some unclear sources claim that the device may be renamed as OnePlus Nord 6 series of phones in the global market, but it is better to wait for more official information.
