OnePlus is now ready to expand its product range with a smartphone that may only be mid-range but the hardware is like a high-end machine with a screen, chip, and camera close to the Galaxy S25 Ultra.

Recently, OnePlus launched the high-end phone model OnePlus 15 in the Indian market, along with the mid-range version OnePlus 15R introduced yesterday. Now, it looks like OnePlus’ next premium compact phone is about to launch. A new certification spotted in India has revealed a new phone model, possibly the OnePlus 15s.

The Indian regulator’s BIS listing shows an upcoming device with model number CPH2793. Although the certification database does not confirm the official name, the tipster believes that this is the OnePlus 15s model. Another tweet from the same person also claims that CPH2795 also refers to the OnePlus 15s, while the China-exclusive OnePlus 15T is expected to carry model number PLU110.

Unfortunately, the information on the BIS site does not reveal any specific details such as launch time or technical specifications. But based on what we know so far, the new compact flagship is expected to feature a 6.31-inch BOE X3 OLED display with 1.5K resolution and 165Hz refresh rate. Inside, the device is said to be equipped with Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip.

Rumors suggest that this device will have a huge 7,500mAh battery, which can support 100W or 120W fast wired charging. Regarding photography capabilities, the main camera is expected to be a 50MP Sony IMX906 sensor, similar to the OnePlus 15 and OnePlus 15R. However, there is also information that the device will use a Samsung HP5 200MP sensor, but this seems uncertain. Besides the main camera, the company can equip an additional Samsung JN5 50MP telephoto camera.
